This workshop will introduce teachers to an extensive library of activities and digital content, all licences designed to enable schools to create further resources without fear of litigation or expensive penalties. DescriptionThe Redcar & Cleveland City Learning Centre is part of the DfES Excellence in Cities (EiC) initiative. EiC is a targeted programme to bring additional resources to address the needs of urban areas. It brings a new approach that increases the diversity of provision for pupils and at the same time encourages schools to co-operate to raise standards. The Centre's bespoke facilities which include a 200 seat auditorium, 4 seminar rooms with interactive whiteboards and projectors, 2 x 25 workstation ICT rooms with a range of software, recording studio and a drop-in café area with internet access, provides a positive learning environment for both pupils and adult learners.
