Further Information
These events are designed for - and aimed at - supporting all schools in their use of ICT across numerous aspects of teaching and learning.
In the Autumn Term Naace will be engaging with schools to talk about 3rd Millennium Learning, focused on celebrating schools' achievements in creating an environment and curriculum that will stimulate more and better learning, presented in ways that will inform and inspire parents.
From September, Vital will also offer seven subject/learning area portals to Primary ICT Subject Leaders (delivered by Naace members), Secondary ICT Subject Leaders, Computing, E-safety, English and Literacy, Maths and Numeracy and Science (other subject areas to follow).
Delegates at these events will be some of the first to have direct access to these new programmes from Naace and Vital affording great opportunities to learn about the benefits and influence their future direction.
Attendees will be able to review the Vital Subject Portals at these meetings and receive free access for five school staff.
All programmes will offer schools an extremely cost-effective way to deliver school-based Professional Development. The focus will be very much upon the impact both the Vital Professional programme and ICT can have upon the quality of learning and teaching.
In addition schools may be invited to share their experiences and celebrate their impact in learning on Saturday 10 March - the final day of the Naace Strategic Conference 2012 - as well as on the Vital Website.
Schools will be able to present feedback from test-bed programmes using Kindles and Kinects in class, including details on how they are being used, what the impact upon learning is and so much more.
Come along to one of these events to find out how you can engage, enabling you, your school and your pupils to benefit from enhanced learning opportunities in the new academic year.
Each delegate will receive:
Access to a number of Vital Subject Portals for five staff
Details on how to use the Portals with the In-house Vital Professional Programme
Links to Gaming, support, guidance and school based feedback on the Vital site
Certificate of attendance (if requested when the online booking is made).
