This important event is an opportunity to share information and resources with adults who work with children and young people. The session will address the potential risk to adults who through their work engage with young people online and use technology to communicate and share information relating to the young people in their care.

This event is suitable for: senior managers within schools; inservice coordinators; e-safety officers; teachers; teaching assistants; social care workers; librarians; Local Authority officers and those from the voluntary sector.

The theme of the sessions will be to:

Help schools and local authorities provide appropriate support for adults who work with children and use communications technologies

The sessions will include opportunities to consider:

• Managing online identities
• Ensuring student data and images are securely managed
• Appropriate communications with members of the school community (including parents and learners)
