Active Directory Integration
Overview
The following configuration guidelines describe how to set-up an Active Directory database to authenticate user’s web access. The CachePilot product range can authenticate a browser session against an MS Server once the CachePilot joins the AD domain. Integrated authentication allows the AD tree to be searched from it’s [root] allowing any AD structure to work. Once a user logs into the network they are able to browse the web without any additional logins.
To utilise the CachePilot Active Directory authentication requires v4.x or above of the operating system.
