Our vision is of Stockton-on-Tees as a vibrant e-learning community, encompassing the full continuum of learning from Early Years to Post 16 and beyond into lifelong learning. The vision is underpinned by an ambitious strategy, jointly planned and collaboratively delivered, which draws on the full range of skills, knowledge and expertise which exists within Stockton-on-Tees schools, colleges, the local authority and external partners. The strategy recognises that e-learning is constantly evolving, it embraces the new, and ensures development and support go hand in hand. The challenge is to utilise what is current, and anticipate and explore the potential of the future to create learning through innovative use of e-learning. There is a commitment to developing MIS systems to support the ECM agenda, and to contribute fully and pro-actively to the Information Sharing agenda.
