Developing Student Improvement Leaders is one of our Schools Innovation Projects and it aims to make use of new technologies to impact on teaching and learning.
All Saints VA CE School in Stockton will be developing a Moodle VLE with areas for curriculum, care and guidance, student leadership, governors, parents and community.

The SEGfL Bird Box Project 2010 is providing schools with an opportunity to share video and data streams collected from nesting boxes fitted with video cameras and other data gathering equipment.
The SEGfL also supports PuffinCam on Burhou Island, 1.5 km off the coast of the channel island of Alderney. The Alderney Wildlife Trust reports that Puffins should be arriving during April.

MTN is a UK web based school news station, created for schools by East of England Broadband Network (E2BN) and the Knowledge Media Institute (KMI) of the Open University.

02 November 2009 Following the success of Green Day 2009, CABE are pleased to announce that registration is now available on the CABE website for schools interested in taking part in June 2010. Green Day is an event exploring climate change, buildings and spaces for primary and secondary schools, linking to the Sustainable Schools agenda.
Registering doesn’t commit you to taking part in Green Day; it just means that you will be amongst the first to know about developments leading up to Green Day 2010, including helpful advice on how to organise and run the day successfully.

16 October 2009 Live Resources for Key Stages 1-5
The Met Office is hosting a series of free video conferences to schools and colleges in England, with our own weather and climate experts. The conferences will start with a presentation, followed by an interactive question and answer session. Successful schools can choose the duration of their conference, they usually last between 40 and 75 minutes.
Depending on demand, we may invite several schools to participate in the same conference. These have proved extremely popular in the past, so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
