The Gallery is a great resource with over 35,000 images, videos and sounds for use in the classroom. But we want to make it even better by increasing the number and range of images available and for this we need your help.
Each term we are looking for images based on one or two of the themes and we are asking you and your students to take and upload images based on those themes.
We’ll publish all the images that are suitable, i.e. are good high resolution images that are appropriate to the theme and are suitable for inclusion on an educational site. And each term, for each theme, we’ll nominate the best image per age group to go forward to the national final. Each finalist will receive a large, high quality, framed print of their image.
The NEN Gallery is a versatile resource for use across the curriculum. Over the last few months E2BN has been adding a whole new range of functionality so now it's even better and faster to use
A faster and more flexible Gallery
The latest upgrade to the Gallery sees faster upload and download speeds, better searching facilities and other new features such as picture of the day, links allowing you to share images or recommend good resources you have found. You can also see the latest pictures uploaded and more resources will shortly be added to an expanded teacher's area.
