Welcome Welcome to the Northern Grid mini-applications site. The resources on this site were developed by The Northern Grid in collaboration with schools. The activities are easy to use and appropriate for individual, group and whole class teaching via an interactive white board. The original remit for the activities was to create small interactive applications in order to meet specific requests from teachers in the region. By creating the activities with Adobe Flash it is a relatively simple process to tailor and refine the applications following constructive feedback from teachers. You will need the latest version of Flash Player which you can download here. A big thank you to Epinay School for their ideas and help in making these resources. To access the resources click the 'Resources' link at the bottom or top of the page. Update: A brand new activity has been added to the site. The music keyboard allows you to play music using your mouse by clicking on the notes. There are also different instrument sounds to play with. Click here to go to the second activity page to find the resource. Update: The majority of activities on this site now have their own properties on the Netmedia Learning Platform. All schools in the Northern Grid reigion can access these. If you see a icon next to an activity then it is available on the Learning Platform. Hover your mouse over this icon and the property name will appear, you can then search for the property on your Learning Platform and include it on your desktop or in a class.
