Welcome to the Northern Grid Awards 2010 Website

The Northern Grid ICT Awards recognise and celebrate the excellent practice happening in North East schools. Each year the standard of the entries increases and the judge’s task gets more difficult. This year 39 entries were shortlisted and the schools involved were invited to a prestigious award ceremony at the Gosforth Park Marriott Hotel.

This site gives an overview of the winning and highly commended entries, over the coming year Northern Grid will be visiting some of the schools to produce more, in depth, case studies.

If you are impressed by these examples and decide to have a go at similar activities why not enter next year’s awards? Any school can enter and details of how to enter will be available in September 2010.
