Teacher's Supporting Notes

The teacher resource area covers 18 project / investigation ideas based around points on the Heritage Trail. It is intended that through experiencing the interactive trail activities and the classroom based activities that pupils will gain a perspective on Local Heritage Initiatives, what is Heritage and why heritage is important?

The educational questions / activities / projects that supplement the pupils interactive activities link to the following curriculum areas:

Handling Data:
Solve problems by collecting, selecting, processing, presenting and interpreting data, using ICT where appropriate; draw conclusions and identify further questions to ask

English:
NLS: Attempt writing for various purposes, using features of different forms such as lists, stories and instructions.
