Pages (Semerc)
Pages is a simple word processor which allows the children to enter and format text, add pictures, and use a spell checker. There is also a speech facility which reads back what the children have written.
Children can type anywhere on the page, change the font, size and colour of text. They can move text or pictures round the page - double click and it gets a box around it and they can use click and drag.
There is a word bank facility and words and pictures can be locked to the page so it is useful for creating templates.
