To introduce the students to the design of a logo on a curved surface.

Plan
Ask the students to get out their work folders.
Introduce the students to the problem. Read the sheet out to the group as some will be unable to read it. The real problem is the design and subsequent drawing of the logo on the sheet and transferring it to the can. The students must have the following brought to their attention:-
You will not see all of the design on the can as it curves and much will therefore be hidden from view.
The full colour drawing inside the rectangle will have to have the logo going in the same direction as the can i.e. if the rectangle has the logo drawn from top to bottom, so must the can. STRESS THIS BIT.
The sheet will be printed both sides so they can have a couple of goes.
If the group finish this part and some will they should do a poster on A4 paper advertising the drink can.
MAKE SURE THEY RETURN FOLDERS AT THE END OF THE LESSON AND PUT AWAY CRAYONS AND FELT TIPS ETC.
